I don' t remember which one of you guys were into this series too, so I'll just post it here, and let you sort it out. www.stephenking.com/DarkTower/He made an Official Dark Tower page for the upcoming releases of the next few books, and tied everything together. But the coolest part of this page, is in the books section, under "Wolves of the Calla" Steve himeself reads a new section of the book. It's where Alain, and Cuthubert die. Might be worth checking out...

There is also a book coming out on July 1st called "The Dark Tower, a Concordance Volume 1." It should have maps and character lists and all sorts of cool stuff. I forget who it's by, but it is one of King's assistants or copy editors or something.
I think the revised "The Gunslinger" comes out on the 24th.
I got into the series around 92, before Wizard and Glass came out. It was a long wait for the Blane story to get finished!!!

I had to wait for wizard and glass for about 3 years. I had read the first 3 books all at once in 94. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. Oh, and Phil, I was at Barnes and nobles about a month ago, and I came across a book, Which i forget the name, but covered the entire stephen king universe, and with no surprise, showed how a good deal of his books centered around the dark tower. It did summaries of stories, charactors and relations and so forth. Ill try to dig up the name, but thought you might be interested.

I'm about half way through the new version of The Gunslinger (DT1.2) It's quite a bit different than the other version. I like it, but it's a bit heavy on the foreshadowing in places.
