of course that's good, although i don't really agree.
thanks for all the names everyone, now i shall be finned up for a long while.
rev: jatkens tid was almost certainly their best album. the new one (ur jordens djup) is way, way better. i like tracks 2, 3 and 6.
JD: translator!!!
question one, did the heading of this thread (which i made up) sound like any real finnish, and if so, what?
question two, what would it mean if i were to scream FLUM FLUM FLUM?

hang on.. i just read that they STILL sing in swedish. i had heard otherwise. unless you speak swedish just answer question one. then we shall mount the bobsled of doom, and brave the frosted slopes and icy spires on our journey to valhalla, or some such. there you shall bring me amanitas, if you can beat the deer, and i shall cook them up.

Eicca from Apocalyptica once tried to tell me that Finntroll sing in Finnish, but if you look at the liner notes, the lyrics are *clearly* in swedish.

don't you guys have broadband and stuff? it's not like groundbreaking metal but i'm endorsing it shamelessly and not one review, after two pages. at least get track six, or three.
i mean, we've got somebody here of orkish name, and orks are sympathetic to trolls, and often get up to mischief together. we've got a living modern day viking, and even an actual finn. *screams*
death metal with jews harps and accordians is just MEANT TO BE, damnit.

track 7, not 6..... en maktig har.
except with lots of umlaut-y things instead of normal vowels.
what is more metal than umlauts? come on.

Nope, heading's not really finnish but it's got that same feel of an ancient nordic language so not bad. The Flum Flum part I'm not really sure of, sounded fun.

well, in general finntroll lyrics are about repelling the christian invaders, so yes, it does sound that way.

SUOMI \m/,
EEESKJADURN DADAKK KRE SUOMI
suomi has the best amanitas. i don't know what else is good about it, but i feel drawn to the place.
haha i just realised why. there were some hilarious tv commercials here portraying a couple of cooky finns.
my wife come home and she say "otto, i find finish sauce"... then she show me the -ing (finishing sauce). and look, is like little jug. but the taste, yum! our friends, they also say yum.. and every time we laughing (shows them hiding the -ing part of the label and their friends faces are like stone)
heh, not very funny without hearing his voice, and seeing him collect firewood wearing cross-country ski's and some kind of wooden backpack.

way to go jacki. remember, friends don't let friends bobsled drunk.
will it be possible to insert more bobsled references in this thread? we will see.
i remembered something else i know about finnland. a huge percentage of houses in finnland have saunas. more than half or something. wwwwwwwwicked. i will live in saunas, and if i have to relocate then JD can roll me down the street in a large ball of wool, possibly pulled by reindeer or huskies.
