i agree that it shouldn't be a law.
i use it even if i go just 2 blocks. its completely automatic for me.
but it shouldn't be a law, like the helmet. cause if you dont do it you are not placing any life in danger except yours. so if you don't care... well you are on your own.

I just don't want to have some dumbass on a motorcycle hit me, kill themself and then have to live with the fact that someone died in an accident that I was involved with. I'd like to think it would be their fault (the accident), but I guess I could pull out in front of someone too. yea exactly. just cuz they wear a helmet doesn't mean someone else won't kill them.

oh shit i never thought of it before reading the poll options....he wears a fucking helmet for a living. jesus christ, he coulda just worn his damn football helmet That's me, providing a valuable community service! ;D I just don't want to have some dumbass on a motorcycle hit me, kill themself and then have to live with the fact that someone died in an accident that I was involved with. Yeah, and I understand that. I just hope that if I ever get into an accident with a bike, it's their fault. I know I'm probably just as likely to pull out in front of someone as anyone else, but I'd like to think I'm a bit more observant than that.

seatbelt law makes more sense here, from a health-care point of view.
